The Naukluft Mountains . . .

From the Lodge the Naukluft Mountains are an easy day excursion and offer a choice of two day hikes that can be self guided. Although the Naukluft offers wonderful landscape and is one of the features in Namibia that drew Rob to the country, he discovered that the Zaris Mountains offer a spectacular panoramic landscape from the maze of canyon edges on the property. Our walking trails have been designed to offer a cross section of grades and focus on the panorama from the high ground and canyon edges.
Angie and Paul, to the left, get the best of both worlds by staying with us for a week or so and are seen here on the return from the Naukluft 4x4 trail. For the most part, they walk in the Zaris mountains leaving straight from their room!
The Naukluft 4 x 4 Trail is something that is only organized for returning guests that are spending longer periods at the lodge. |
